Join us for a relaxing two-day break combining royal history and timeless charm. From the grandeur of Hampton Court Palace to the elegant city of Bath, this tour offers a perfect mix of fascinating sights and free time to explore.

Day One - Hampton Court Palace

Departing South Wales we take you Hampton Court Palace. Experience the dramas and private lives of Henry VIII, his wives and children im the Tudor court. See Henry’s Great Hall, the infamous Haunted Gallery and the Tudor kitchens. Discover the spectacular baroque palace built for William III and Mary II.

And to get you ready for the following day,  you can explore the magnificent gardens.

At the end of your visit we take you to the excellent  Voco Reading hotel for an overnight stay. Here you’ll be treated to a buffet style dinner, accommodation and full English breakfast the following morning.

A note about your included evening meal: For convenience and value, your break includes a simple evening meal as part of your hotel stay. The hotel's evening meal is designed to cater for a larger group of people together at the same time, so you may find that the choices are more basic and limited.

We recognise that it may not always meet the expectations of those that would prefer a superior dining experience from an extensive menu, and we recommend that you bear this in mind when booking this break. Most hotels have alternative options via a bar menu or room service menu to purchase at your own expense, should the inclusive evening meal not meet your own personal preference

Day Two - Bath

The following day, we’ll check out from the hotel in the morning to make our way to Bath, where we aim to arrive around 11am.

Steeped in history and renowned for its stunning Georgian architecture, Bath is one of England’s most beautiful and distinctive cities. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Bath is famous for its Roman-built baths, elegant crescents and charming streets lined with independent shops, cafés and restaurants.

During your visit, you’ll have free time to explore at your leisure. You may wish to visit the iconic Roman Baths, admire the grandeur of Bath Abbey, or take a leisurely walk along the picturesque Pulteney Bridge. The city’s compact centre makes it easy to discover its many highlights, whether you prefer sightseeing, shopping or simply relaxing with a coffee while soaking up the atmosphere.

We'll be departing from Bath by 4pm for a late evening return home.
