Day One
Departing South Wales we head to the most westerly county in England for a four night stay at the Esplanade Hotel Newquay.
In addition to evening meals and breakfast at the hotel, also included with your stay for this holiday is a free bar each evening (between 6pm and 9pm, selected brands) and a Cornish Cream Tea on one afternoon.
Day Two - Truro
Today we head to Truro, the most southerly city in the UK. A beautiful cathedral, museums, high street & independent shops along with fantastic places to eat make this a great place to stop as we explore the county. We will be returning early in the afternoon for your included one-course buffet lunch at the hotel, and the afternoon is free in Newquay.
Day Three - Padstow
Our excursion today takes us along the Camel estuary to the beautiful fishing port of Padstow.
With its maze of narrow streets, colourful buildings and beautiful harbour, the town has a reputation for fabulous places to eat and drink and is made famous by celebrity chef Rick Stein. With stunning scenery, historic buildings and even a lobster hatchery, Padstow is a beautiful place to visit.
We return to the hotel for an afternoon at leisure.
Day Four - St Ives
Today, we continue soaking up the scenery with a visit to the jewel in the crown of Cornwall, St Ives.
With an almost Mediterranean feel, this mix of old and new brings this popular harbour town together. Art galleries and coffee shops sit side by side, and the narrow, winding streets invite you to explore so much more. From here, we continue through the Cornish lanes, through Penzance, before heading back to relax for the evening.
Day Five
Time to say goodbye to Cornwall as we head back home, stopping off for a break along the way before arriving home late afternoon/early evening.
