Enjoy a magical festive break in the capital, combining Christmas shopping, iconic sights, and seasonal cheer. With time to explore vibrant Battersea Power Station, a full day at leisure in London, and a visit to the beautiful city of Bath and its famous Christmas Market, this three-day getaway is the perfect way to experience the sights and sounds of the festive season.
Departing South Wales in the early morning (with pick-ups scheduled between approximately 6am and 9am), we travel to London for the start of your festive break.
Our first stop is the impressive Battersea Power Station, now beautifully restored and transformed into one of London’s most exciting destinations. Set along the banks of the River Thames, you’ll find a fantastic selection of shops, restaurants, and cafés all under one roof.
Step outside and soak up the festive atmosphere, where twinkling lights, Christmas trees, pop-up stalls, seasonal markets, and even an ice rink create a magical setting—perfect for getting into the Christmas spirit.
Later in the afternoon, we continue to our hotel for check-in.
Your two-night stay is at the Holiday Inn London Kensington High Street, offering a comfortable and convenient base for your city break. Ideally located in a quieter area just moments from Kensington High Street, the hotel is within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants, and the nearest Underground station.
All bedrooms are en-suite and feature modern amenities including free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV, and tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel also offers a restaurant, bar, and leisure facilities, providing everything you need for a relaxing stay.
With excellent transport links nearby and taxis readily available, you may choose to stay local or venture into London’s vibrant West End for the evening.

Sleep in and relax, or rise early to make the most of London at this magical time of year. Browse the shops, explore festive markets, or perhaps visit one of the city’s many renowned museums and exhibitions.
Take in the sights, enjoy a warming drink, and soak up the seasonal atmosphere as the city sparkles with Christmas cheer.
It’s your holiday—so take things at your own pace and come and go as you please from your centrally located hotel.
Following breakfast, we depart London at approximately 9am and travel west towards the beautiful city of Bath.
Steeped in history and renowned for its stunning Georgian architecture, Bath offers a wonderful blend of heritage, shopping, and dining. During the festive season, the city comes alive with its famous Christmas Market, where charming wooden chalets offer unique gifts, seasonal treats, and a truly magical atmosphere.
After time at leisure, we depart Bath at approximately 4pm, returning to South Wales later that evening.
