Day One - Stratford Upon Avon
Departing South Wales we head for the first destination of our break where we hope to arrive at around midday (or shortly after).
Famed for being the birthplace of Shakespeare, Stratford upon Avon is a vibrant town centre with typical high street shopping alongside independent stores, excellent restaurants and cafes. Add Ann Hathaway's cottage and the opportunity to cruise on the River Avon and as the man himself said..... "I like this place and could willingly waste my time in it"...
At the end of the afternoon we’ll head over to Cheltenham town centre for a one night bed and breakfast stay at the Holiday Inn Express, conveniently located in the centre of Cheltenham, with plenty of places to go out for a meal and few drinks nearby.
Day Two - Cheltenham
After a leisurely breakfast we’ll arrange for you to leave you bags at the hotel's reception so that you are free to explore the town and all it has to offer.
Cheltenham is the most complete Regency town in Britain and one of the few English towns in which traditional and contemporary architecture complement each other. There’s plenty more shopping at the Promenade and the town centre too, and lots of excellent restaurants to grab a bite to eat before heading home
We'll be departing at 3pm for an early evening return home.
