Queen Elizabeth ll - Her Life In Style - A Festive Twixmas Special
In 2026, to mark the centenary of Queen Elizabeth II’s birth, The King’s Gallery at Buckingham Palace is hosting the largest and most comprehensive exhibition of the late Queen’s fashion ever mounted.
Through approximately 200 items, around half on display for the first time, Queen Elizabeth II: Her Life in Style will chart the remarkable story of Britain’s longest-reigning monarch through clothing worn in all ten decades of her life: from birth to adulthood, from princess to queen, and from off-duty style to diplomatic dressing for the global stage.
Day One - London
Departing South Wales (all pick-ups take place between 6am & 9am) we head along the motorway, taking a coffee stop along the way before arriving in London and stopping as close as we can to Buckingham Palace at lunchtime to allow you time for a bite to eat before your 2.30pm entry to Queen Elizabeth - Her Life In Style.
At the end of your visit, we'll pick you up and take you over to Covent Garden to give you a couple of hours to enjoy your time at leisure, making our way back to the super stylish Holiday Inn at London Heathrow at approximately 6-6.30 pm to check for your overnight bed and breakfast stay.
You might like to enjoy an early evening meal in central London - you'll find plenty of choice available, or alternatively, the hotel has a large modern restaurant and bar, if you'd prefer to relax and enjoy a more leisurely meal once checked in!
Day Two
After breakfast and checking out from the hotel, it’s back into central London. Today we’ll stop off in Knightsbridge close to the Natural History and Science Museums and of course Harrods, alternatively we'll also offer a drop off near Park Lane, ideal for those wanting to hit the shops on Oxford Street or head to the Winter Wonderland in the heart of Hyde Park.
We'll be departing by 3.30pm for a late evening return home.
