Disney’s award-winning musical The Lion King explodes with glorious colours, stunning effects and enchanting music. It follows the powerful story of Simba as he journeys from wide-eyed cub to his destined role as King of the Pridelands.
Now in its 26th year at London's Lyceum Theatre, visionary director Julie Taymor’s acclaimed reimagining of Disney's beloved film will redefine your expectation of theatre.
Day One
Departing South Wales (all pick ups take place between 9am and 11am) we'll be stopping on our journey for a motorway services refreshment break as we take you to straight central London. We hope to drop you off close to the Lyceum Theatre at approximately 4.30pm with plenty of time to give you the opportunity to enjoy a pre-show meal or drinks if you wish to do so ahead of the evening performance of Disney's The Lion King* which starts at 7.30pm.
Please note: Children under 3 years of age are not permitted to enter the Lyceum Theatre. The Lion King is recommended for ages 6 and up.
The coach will pick you up again after the show has finished to take you back to the Holiday Inn London Heathrow Bath Road hotel for your overnight stay.
Day Two - London
After breakfast and checking out from the hotel at around 9:30am to take you into central London, where we hope to be making our first drop off at around 10am, or shortly after, you’ll have the choice of two drop off points*: we’ll stop off at Knightsbridge, home of the Natural History and Science museums, and also nearby you'll find the world famous Harrods. Alternatively, you can stay on the coach a little longer to be dropped off close to County Hall on London’s South Bank. Here you’ll be within walking distance of sights such as the London Eye, Trafalgar Square and Buckingham Palace.
Departing central London at 3 pm for a late evening return home.
*Please note that in the event of any significant events or traffic restrictions, we may be forced to offer alternative drop-off points
