Join us for a unique continental Christmas Market weekend as we take you to the Valkenburg in the Netherlands. Here you can experience a magical festive experience underground which will delight adults and children alike.
Day One
It's up bright and early as we take you through the channel tunnel * and on to northern France, through Belgium and on to the friendly family run Hotel Op De Boud in Valkenburg.
Here we'll settle in for your three night stay with evening meals & breakfast included, before exploring your Dutch delights.
Day Two - Maastricht
The southern most city in the Netherlands is known as the Paris of Benelux and at this time of year, becomes "Magical Maastricht" as Vrijthof square is transformed into a Christmas wonderland. Day Three - Valkenburg
This charming town may well have plenty of shops, bars and cafes to visit but it's also home to one of the most unique Christmas Markets in Europe. Deep underground, Valkenburg's caves are a stunning setting. Drink hot chocolate, browse the stalls and find so much in all the nooks and crannies the caves offer. Hand blown glass, antiques, clothing, chocolates, jewellery and more will all be on display.. ideal to find that special Christmas gift! Back above ground, shops, museums, the castle ruins and a chair lift are among the attractions that this border town offers.

Please note: Entry to Christmas Markets and other festive attractions is not included with your break, and we recommend that these are pre-booked for any that you wish to visit during your stay.
Day Four
Time to head home, we'll leave Valkenburg after an early breakfast, and take you back through Northern France to board our early afternoon crossing for home. Arriving home late evening.
