When Dorothy famously triumphed over the Wicked Witch of the West, we only ever heard one side of the story. Gregory Maguire‘s acclaimed 1995 novel, ‘Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West’, re-imagines the Land of Oz, creating a parallel universe to the familiar story written by L. Frank Baum and first published as ‘The Wonderful Wizard of Oz’ in 1900.
Day One
Departing South Wales (all pick ups take place between 9am and 11am) we'll be stopping on our journey for a motorway services refreshment break as we take you to straight central London.
We hope to drop you off close to the Apollo Victoria Theatre at approximately 4.30pm with plenty of time to give you the opportunity to enjoy a pre-show meal or drinks if you wish to do so ahead of the evening performance of Wicked which starts at 7.30pm.
The coach will pick you up again after the show has finished to take you back to the Holiday Inn London Heathrow Bath Road hotel for your overnight stay.
Day Two - Marlborough
After a leisurely breakfast, we head off for a lunchtime stop at the beautiful Wessex town of Marlborough. Consistently voted one of the best places to live in England, the town boasts many boutique shops along with excellent pubs, restaurants and cafes.
Departing early in the afternoon for an early evening return home.
