Join us for a summer weekend break to the beautiful Isle of Wight!

Day One

Departing South Wales, we head to Portsmouth for our afternoon sailing over the Solent to Fishbourne on the Isle itself.  From here it’s a short drive to the characterful Royal Esplanade Hotel in Ryde. This beautifully restored Victorian hotel is your home for the weekend as we settle in for a three-night stay with evening meals & breakfast included, plus entertainment on one evening.

As the name suggests, your hotel is situated right on the Esplanade and offers fantastic views back across the Solent to the mainland. Glorious beaches, excellent restaurants, and the second-longest pier in the UK are just a few things you'll find on your doorstep. You can even hop on a hovercraft or ride ( in Ryde...) the island's railway!

Day Two – Island tour

Today, we take you around the south, West and North of the island. Taking in the channel views as we head to Alum Bay and the Needles and on to Yarmouth with its wooden pier.

Day Three - Shanklin

This morning, we'll head over to spend the morning in Shanklin. With all the charm of a proper seaside town and set against the dramatic sandstone cliffs, Shanklin's beach is one of the most stunning walks to take on the Island. The Old Village, with its charming thatched cottages and rich history, is home to gift shops and tea rooms, making it the perfect spot for a cream tea or a light lunch.

Returning to Ryde for the afternoon.

Day Four

After checking out from the hotel, we'll make our way back to Fishbourne for our mid-morning ferry crossing back to Portsmouth, returning home to Wales in the early evening.
