Our Illuminations Holiday includes a four night stay at the welcoming, family run Park House Hotel which is located on Blackpool's North Promenade.
Day One
Departing South Wales we head North and aim to arrive by mid afternoon at the Park House Hotel in Blackpool to check in for your for a four night stay with evening meals & breakfast included.
A great place to stay for couples, families and solo travellers - the Parkhouse Hotel has an excellent position on Blackpool’s prestigious North Promenade and is within walking distance to the town centre and all major attractions. Your four-night stay includes breakfast, evening meals, plus there is nightly entertainment at the hotel as well!
The Illuminations will be in full swing, so why not take advantage of the trams, right outside the hotel, and zip up and down the Golden Mile? Great nightlife, fish and chips, and so much more!
Day Two - Liverpool
The vibrant city of Liverpool is just over an hour's drive from Blackpool, and today we'll take you there to enjoy a taste of this fantastic place! You'll find there's so much here to see and do, from exploring the iconic Liverpool Waterfront, home to the famous Liver Building and the Royal Albert Dock, taking in the stunning views of the River Mersey, or you may wish to visit one of the many museums and galleries in the area. Shopaholics can indulge in retail therapy at Liverpool One, a large shopping complex with a mix of high street brands and designer stores.
Day Three – Southport
This charming Victorian seaside resort is just under an hour from Blackpool, nestled on the Sefton coast and boasting the Pier, tramway and Lord Street for shopping.
Day Four - Free in Blackpool
As mentioned, the trams are on your doorstep, as is the town centre, so head out and explore or just relax for the day.
Day Five
After breakfast its time to check out of the hotel and head home to Wales. Stopping on the way for lunch and arriving home in the evening.
