Day One - Gloucester Quays
Departing south Wales we head over to the city of Gloucester, where we'll drop you off at the Gloucester Quays retail outlet. Gloucester Quays is home to designer and high street fashion brands, including more than 60 top names such as All Saints, Osprey, White Stuff, Adidas, Nike, , Next, Skechers, Levi's, Clarks, Crew Clothing and an M & S Outlet, and is now one of the fastest growing outlets in the UK. Gloucester Quays also hosts a wide range of leisure outlets including coffee shops, restaurants, bars and a cinema.
The Christmas Markets will also be running this weekend, with a fabulous range of festive gifts, locally produced foodie products, delicious street food and pop-up bars. Located across Gloucester Quays and the historic docks, over 120 traders will showcase the very best craft, gifts and food from the Southwest region for you to experience and enjoy. At the end of the afternoon we leave Gloucester (approx 4pm) to make our way to Bristol city centre for a one night stay at the excellent Clayton Hotel Bristol. Here you’ll enjoy bed and breakfast with the city on your doorstep...and with a such a huge choice of venues hosting the arts and entertainment. Brilliant bars and restaurants.. you can stay out late.. or head back early...the choice is yours!
Day Two
Enjoy a leisurely start to the day, maybe have an extra hour in bed before your complimentary breakfast. Leave your bags at reception and explore the city in the daytime. Bristol is full of history and great buildings…but you may want to squeeze in some more shopping at the new Cabot Circus shopping centre and grab a bite to eat before we head home that afternoon.
