Join us for a weekend away that includes Clarkson's Pub, a town centre stay and breakfast too!
Day One - Windsor
This beautiful and unique town attracts visitors all year round, and it's not hard to see why! Situated on the banks of the Thames, this elegant town is home to some superb places to eat and drink, and some excellent high street and independent shopping too.
With Eton just over the bridge, and boat trips that take on a cruise up the river, Windsor is so much more than a residence of His Majesty The King, Windsor Castle.
From here it's a short drive to the Pentahotel Reading, conveniently located in the centre of Reading, with plenty of places to go out for a meal and few drinks nearby.
Day Two - The Farmers Dog
After breakfast we leave the hotel and head to the edge of the Cotswolds and on to The Farmers Dog for Sunday opening time!
Formerly the Windmill pub, this venue has been transformed by the infamous Jeremy Clarkson. Now a pub and restaurant with the addition of an old Grand Tour tent that's home to loads of Diddly Squat Farm produce and merchandise, ideal for fans of the show.
*Should you wish to take Sunday lunch in the pub itself, it's advisable to book directly with the pub in advance - We plan to stay around 3 - 3.5hrs - estimated arrival 11am depart 3pm - approximate times only.
** Just so you know, circumstances beyond our control regarding The Farmer's Dog may lead to changes to the itinerary.
We depart from the pub by 3pm and make our way back to South Wales, arriving home later that evening.
We have a number of pick up points available for this break as shown below...
