Join us for a weekend away that includes Clarkson's Pub, a town centre stay and breakfast too!
Day One - The Farmer's Dog
Departing South Wales, we head to the edge of the Cotswolds and on to The Farmers Dog for opening time!
Formerly the Windmill pub, this venue has been transformed by the infamous Jeremy Clarkson. Now a pub and restaurant with the addition of an old Grand Tour tent that's home to loads of Diddly Squat Farm produce and merchandise, ideal for fans of the show.
*Should you wish to dine in the pub itself, it's advisable to book directly with the pub in advance - We plan to stay around 3 - 3.5hrs - estimated arrival 11am depart 3pm - approximate times only.
** Just so you know, circumstances beyond our control regarding The Farmer's Dog may lead to changes to the itinerary.
From here, we make our way back to the capital of the Cotswolds, Cheltenham.
Checking in at the perfectly placed Holiday Inn Express Cheltenham Town Centre, you can relax and unwind or freshen up for a night out on the town!
Cheltenham has a fabulous selection of places to eat with many just a few yards from the hotel at the old Brewery Quarter, but venture further in you'll discover everything from Indian street food to a branch of the Ivy in the town Montpellier area!
And with places from Wetherspoons to wonderful wine bars... You’ll be sure of a good night out!
Day Two - Cheltenham
After a leisurely breakfast, we’ll arrange for you to drop your bags off on the coach so that you are free to explore the town and all it has to offer.
Cheltenham is the most complete Regency town in Britain and one of the few English towns in which traditional and contemporary architecture complement each other. There’s plenty more shopping at the Promenade and the town centre too, and lots of excellent restaurants to grab a bite to eat before heading home.
