It's Viva España as we head for the Med on this fabulous holiday to the Costa Brava, with an idyllic location and incredible inclusions all part of your holiday package.

Day One
Departing South Wales in the early morning, we head to Southeast England before taking a lunchtime ferry to Northern France. From here, it's a couple of hours' drive to our first overnight stop near Laon.

Day Two
After breakfast, we continue south to the town of Troyes for our lunchtime break. Troyes is famed for producing a quarter of the country's champagne and has an idyllic charm. Narrow cobbled streets lead to some fabulous cafes and bars, ideal for refreshing yourself before we continue to Nuits Saint Georges for our overnight stay.

Day Three
After breakfast, we head for the south of France, taking glimpses of the Mediterranean and the Pyrenees en route before crossing the Spanish border and on to our base for the next seven nights.

The Prestige Victoria Hotel is ideally located in the heart of the Costa Brava. Overlooking the Mediterranean with the Balearics in the distance, the hotel is well equipped with its own spa and leisure facilities, outdoor pool, and WiFi and satellite TV in the rooms.

Bars and restaurants are plentiful right by the hotel, but with the city of Roses just 2km away, you may want to explore!

A former Greek Colony, Roses blends history and beauty. It's definitely worth a visit with fabulous bars and boutiques and the imposing Citadel De Roses.

Day Four - Cadaqués
Take it easy and enjoy a leisurely breakfast, then join us on a short day out as we take a boat from Roses to Cadaqués. Located in the heart of the Cap De Creus peninsula, this charming and historic town has inspired artists from all around and is home to the Salvador Dali museum. A walking tour is included to help you make the most of your visit before returning to Roses by boat again.

Day Five - Canal du Midi
How about a cruise with lunch included? Then join us as we head to Beziers in France and take to the Canal Du Midi. With a guide on board to point you towards the spectacular cobbled streets of the old town, and plenty of time to take in the views of the beautiful Orb Valley.

Day Six - Free in Roses
A free day for you to enjoy, explore and relax at the resort.

Day Seven - Pals & Peratallada
Taking to the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean, we cruise around the stunning Medes Islands before returning to land and spending time in the villages of Pals and Peratallada. Steeped in medieval history, the villages are home to incredible architecture, including a fortress and castle with a perfectly preserved tower and traditional rustic Spanish homes.

Day Eight - Barcelona!
Today's excursion will be a full day out as the jewel in the crown of the Catalan region awaits. We will enjoy a guided excursion to the fabulous city of Barcelona. With a boat trip through Barcelona Harbour included, the afternoon will be free to enjoy and explore. From the imposing Sagrada Familia to the fabulous Gothic Quarter filled with medieval buildings and hidden plazas, Park Güell to Las Ramblas, where the locals watch the world go by.

Day Nine - Free in Roses
Catch up with some rest and relaxation with a free day at the resort.

Day Ten - Dijon
It's time to say goodbye to Spain as we cross the border back into France and head for our overnight stop near Dijon.

Day Eleven - Reims
Continuing northwards, we head for today's lunchtime break in the beautiful Champagne city of Reims. The stunning Cathedral Notre-Dame stands proud in the centre, flanked by French brasseries and plenty of shops stocked full of the region's favourite export—champagne!

From here we return to Laon for our final overnight stay.

Day Twelve
Sadly, our Spanish ( and French! ) adventure must end as we return to Calais, board our ferry to the UK, and arrive home late in the evening.
