Day One - Windsor
Departing south Wales, we'll be stopping on our journey for a motorway services refreshment break before arriving in Windsor at lunchtime (we hope to arrive at approximately 12.30-1pm)
With the River Thames flowing through, Eton and it’s famous college just over the bridge and Windsor Castle too.. it’s a lovely place to visit at any time of year.
At the end of the afternoon (approx. 5.30-6pm) we take you to the nearby Voco Reading hotel for your overnight stay. Here you’ll be treated to a buffet style dinner, accommodation and full English breakfast the following morning.
Day Two - Hampton Court Palace
After breakfast we'll be checking our from the hotel to take you to Hampton Court Palace for opening time at 10am.
Experience the dramas and private lives of Henry VIII, his wives and children in the Tudor court. See Henry’s Great Hall, the infamous Haunted Gallery and the Tudor kitchens. Discover the spectacular baroque palace built for William III and Mary II. You'll also be able to explore the Palace's magnificent gardens as well.
We'll be departing from the Palace later in the afternoon and returning to Wales late in the evening.
