Enjoy a quintessentially English weekend away - taking you from the banks of the River Thames in Windsor to the banks of the Windrush in Burford!

Day One - Windsor
Departing south Wales, we'll be stopping on our journey for a motorway services refreshment break before arriving in Windsor at lunchtime (we hope to arrive at approximately 12.30-1pm)
With the River Thames flowing through, Eton and it’s famous college just over the bridge and Windsor Castle too.. it’s a lovely place to visit at any time of year.
At the end of the afternoon it’s a short journey to the excellent Voco Reading hotel for an overnight stay. Here you’ll be treated to a buffet style dinner, accommodation and full English breakfast the following morning.
Day Two - The Cotswolds
Rolling hills, picturesque architecture and beautiful stone buildings are what to expect from this area of outstanding natural beauty, nestled the heart of England.
Our first port of call will be Chipping Norton. Known locally as "Chippy", this Cotswolds Market town is renowned for its antique shops and diverse shopping street. Lively and bustling, Chippy is historic, charming and welcoming making it the perfect place to explore.
From here it's on to Burford. With its sweeping high street heading down to the River Windrush, Burford has a charming all.of it's own. From shops selling local produce the world's oldest chemist ( 1734 ) ,to pubs and restaurants frequented by the likes of King Charles and Admiral Nelson! Don't forgot The Tolsey Museum. The building was once a medieval merchants meeting place,but is now a delightful home to Burford's social and industrial past.
Departing mid afternoon, and arriving home in the evening.
