Llandudno is North Wales premier seaside resort, renowned for it’s Victorian splendour, perfect promenade & pier, Great Orme tramway along with excellent town centre shopping, it’s a truly all year round destination.
Day One
Departing south Wales we head North, taking a break along the way before arriving at the Four Oaks hotel on Llandudno’s North shore promenade. This comfortable seaside hotel offers a three course evening meal each evening, ensuite accommodation and a full Welsh breakfast each morning. And if you don’t want to head out on the town and promenade on your doorstep, there’s nightly entertainment too.
Day Two – Eryri (Snowdonia National Park)
Just a few miles away is the beautiful Eryri (Snowdonia National Park). Stopping off at Betws Y Coed along the way, we take the Llanberis pass at the foot of Yr Wyddfa (Mount Snowdon), driving through some of the most dramatic scenery in the country.
From here it’s on to Caernarfon. This Royal town and port has lots to offer. Lanes feeding off the main square offering you independent shops and cafe’s next to historc pubs and more. All in the backdrop of Edward 1st imposing Caernarfon castle.
Day Three – Anglesey
This morning we pop over the Menai Strait and on to the island of Anglesey, with our first port of call, Beaumaris. Dominated by Edward I's unfinished castle, this small town boasts majestic views over the Menai and back to the mainland. From here we head to the place with the longest name in the country, Llanfairpwllgwyngyll, for a coffee stop before returning for the afternoon in Llandudno.
Day Four – Free in Llandudno
Day Five
Time to head home. Stopping off for refreshment breaks along the way, arriving home early evening.
