Join us for an autumn getaway to beautiful West Wales as we go west and on to the fabulous Cliff Hotel and Spa for a five day holiday.
Day One
Departing South Wales we head West, stopping off at Fishguard for a chance to grab a spot of lunch and look around before we head along the coast, arriving at our hotel for your four night stay with evening meals and breakfast included.
Situated on Cardigan Bay and overlooking Poppit Sands, the Cliff Hotel and Spa will welcome you with tea and biscuits on arrival, before settling in to your accommodation for the next four nights.
Day Two - Aberystwyth & Aberaeron
Aberystwyth is famed for it's university but it attracts people from miles around for a whole host of reasons. Fabulous views across the Irish sea, intriguing shops and fabulous places to eat are just a few to mention!
From here it's back along the coast to Aberaeron. This harbour town with its colourful buildings is a favourite stop off for visitors. Great gifts, fish and chips and plenty of pubs offering a warm welcome are what to expect from this seaside town.
Day Three - Tenby
An hour or so south of Cardigan Bay is Tenby. Arguably Wales most famous and popular seaside escape.
Glorious sandy beaches, excellent coffee shops and just a few watering holes are all here, but if you would rather get lost in the lanes, then the town is the place for you. With everything from galleries & jewellery shops to sticks of rock and wind breakers .. the choice is yours!
Day Four - St David's & Cardigan
We start today off with a journey to Britain's smallest city. St David's cathedral dominates and is usually open to all and is a must see when in the area.
Later that day its back to Cardigan; this ancient market town was the first to hold the eisteddfod at the 12th century castle , and today draws people in with traditional shops and Inns that can be found down it's narrow lanes.
From here it's back to the hotel to enjoy the scenery or maybe make use of the spa. (make sure you book a slot!).
Day Five
Time to head home, but not before a stop off in the charming town of Narberth, and arriving back home later that day.
