Step into the captivating world of Coronation Street like never before. Immerse yourself in an extraordinary pre-show cinema experience, embark on an unforgettable 90-minute tour around the authentic exterior set, and venture inside meticulously crafted replica sets of Roy’s Rolls and the iconic Rovers Return in the brand-new Coronation Street Exhibition.
Departing south Wales we head to the beautiful Roman city of Chester, arriving shortly after 1pm. Here you'll have the afternoon to spend at leisure: walk the city walls, take a cruise on the river Dee or explore the shops and eateries of this charming place.
At the end of the afternoon (approx 5-5.30pm) we'll leaving Chester to make our way to the Mercure Haydock hotel for your overnight stay, where you'll have a three course evening meal, as well as breakfast the following morning all included with your stay.
The following day it’s the main event... the Coronation Street Experience!
After breakfast and checking out from the hotel we'll make our way over to MediaCity UK for your tour.
The Coronation Street Experience gives you the chance to explore the sensational outdoor set at MediaCityUK, Manchester, the live working production set where the show is filmed.
In this 90 minute walking tour, you’ll get access externally to all of the street’s most recognisable places.
Stroll past the Roy’s Rolls Café or check out Kev’s car shop, Webster’s Auto Centre. Wander past The Kabin, see the most action-packed pub in the North West, The Rovers Return and even Wetherfield North as you explore Coronation Streets’ famous cobbles. After your tour you'll have the opportunity to continue your journey through the beloved sets and cherished memories of Britain’s most iconic soap at the all-new permanent Coronation Street Exhibition. Here, you can delve into a treasure trove of new replica sets, authentic props, intriguing archives, and captivating costumes and uncover the beating heart of Coronation Street.
The Coronation Street Experience is the perfect attraction for any fan of the soap and a hugely entertaining day out.
