Join us as we cross the Irish sea and on to a fabulous local welcome at Treacy's Hotel in Enniscorthy.
Ireland is famed for it's hospitality, the fondness of a tipple and some excellent cooked foods, so come and indulge with us!
Along with the fantastic accommodation, hearty Irish breakfast, evening meals each night and daily excursions.. we've added a few extra treats to your stay!
Such as... learn to pull a perfect pint of Guinness ( and get to drink it too ) , a cooking demo showing you how to bake traditional soda bread.. with Jameson Whiskey! And a night where you'll sample the Ancient East of Ireland's local cuisine.
Couple this with themed dinners and live musical entertainment each night.. the Craic is well and assured!
Day One Departing South Wales we head across the Irish sea and on to a warm welcome at Treacy's Hotel in Enniscorthy, where you'll be staying for four nights with evening meals, breakfast & entertainment all included.
Day Two - Wicklow Mountains National Park & Avoca
Today, we travel through Wicklow Mountains National Park, one of Ireland’s most untouched regions, before heading to the spectacular valley of Glendalough. A quick visit to the picturesque town of Avoca, the filming location for ‘Ballykissangel’ and home to Avoca Handweavers, Ireland’s oldest weaving mill before we head back for an evening of entertainment!
Day Three - Dublin
Today we take you to the vibrant city of Dublin, home to many famous attractions. Visit the famous Guinness Storehouse, historic Dublin Castle, take a cruise on the River Liffey or simply enjoy a spot of shopping before relaxing and enjoying the atmosphere in the famous Temple Bar pub, the authentic home of Irish music, the largest selection of whiskies in Ireland and the pub with the largest selection of sandwiches!
Day Four - Waterford Today we take a morning out to Waterford. Ireland's oldest city was founded by the Vikings! But don't worry.. a warmer welcome awaits as you explore this charming place. Shops and cafes that are just that little bit different to what you'd expect back home, with the world famous Waterford Crystal being just one thing to look out for. Reginalds Tower is home to the city's treasures... and takes you back in time to when the Vikings ruled!
From here it's back to Enniscorthy where there may be a little something to entertain you back at the hotel.
Day Five It's up bright and early as we had back to Rosslare and our ferry back to Wales, arriving home late afternoon/early evening.
